An Expanding Interview

BourboCam Live host Sara chats with the owner of a local tatoo and piercing shop about expanding unnatural holes in one's head. Posted by Hello

BBMM - Bourbon Brotherhood of Metal Men

One of the first types of people I met working BourboCam Live were the statue men painted as a type of metal: Gold, Copper, Silver, etc. Personally, I'm waiting for someone to get creative with the Periodic Table of the Elementsand paint themselves Indium, but I digress.

At last night's show Jester and I noticed a couple of kids with a reenactment of Hamlet on the corner of Bourbon & St. Peter. Well word travels pretty quick when turf is being encroached and Bronze guy was out to make sure the corner was clear of unwanted vagrants. It was a shame, since I haven seen any Shakespeare in a while.

Of course, Copper Guy starts with the Pyrotechnics thanks to an aerosol can and blowtorch.

It turns out these guys have an gentleman's agreement between each other, run off anyone not in the agreement. It's sort of like a union but no dues. Yet it still doesn't stop young artists from attempting to make their mark (and a buck) on Bourbon.

To illustrate, within a half hour of Copper Guy moving on, this girl shows up with the sign "TIPS! Philanthropy is sexy." and proceeds to demonstrate her skill with balls. Specifically, one glass ball that she juggles along one hand like David Bowie in the movie Legend.

Who says art is dead?

Flash View -or- A View of a Flasher

Crowds are a typical sight on Bourbon. Somewhere there is a theory being written that a girl motioning to lift her shirt changes the bend in the universe which causes more people to gravitate around her. Posted by Hello
